• Eric auditioned for the part of Izzy, but that part was already cast so they asked him to audition for Kenny.
• Director Tony Goldwyn has said: "I met Eric and it was like he walked into the room and it was like someone opened up the curtains and let the sun shine through. Eric approached the character and his sexuality and his approach to women in a way of like celebrating life. [...] Not one person did that. I really campaigned hard and said this is the guy." • The Last Kiss is a remake of L'ultimo bacio. • Co-stars Zach Braff and Michael Weston are good friends in real life and have previously worked together on Garden State. • Zach Braff has said he tweaked the dialog of the movie a little bit.
