Eric Christian Olsen Online opened in May, 2003.
In January of that year, a network here in The Netherlands started airing Get Real.
I decided to watch the show, because I knew Anne Hathaway was in it and I had previously liked her in The Princess Diaries.
I was hooked after I saw the pilot and started watching every week.
I later did a IMDB search and found out Eric was in Not Another Teen Movie, a film I saw about six months earlier. In March, the same friend who dragged me to Not Another Teen Movie, convinced me to go see The Hot Chick and what do you know, I saw Eric again. Not long after that I saw him on 24 and I was really impressed with his performance. People on the 24 message board were complaining they couldn't find a fansite and I couldn't find a site either, so I decided to make one myself. I didn't really know how to make a website, so the first couple of versions were really crappy. The site was hosted at Geocities back then. I started working on my html skills and after getting better at that, I applied to get hosted at Fan Sites Network. The site was accepted and moved there in March, 2004. In May 2008 my host even bought me a domain for the site: http://ericchristianolsen.net! And here we are, over 5 years since the site originally opened.
