NCIS: LA "DRIVE" REVIEW + STILLS
|
Hey guys! Diane posted a review of the NCIS: Los Angeles episode "Drive" (#4.11) that aired on Tuesday, over at the FORUM. Thanks, Di! Here's a preview:
"Drive will always be a special episode for me because sindee and I were there on set the day they were filming in Ops at the beginning of the show. To see all these wonderful actors that I enjoyed so much working only a few feet in front of me was an indescribable moment. I was looking forward to finding out more about the story line since at the time we could only get bits and pieces from the scene in Ops.….so to see the final product was very exciting. Joe Sachs penned two of my favorite episodes from last year (Higher Power & The Dragon and the Fairy) and Steven DePaul (The Debt) was a treat to speak during a short break as we watched the filming outside of Ops. In this episode the team is after a terrorist ring involved in international car shipping and Deeks has a contact from his past that is their target. According to NCISLA Connect, this episode was based on a 1997 FBI investigation of stolen SUV’s that were smuggled from LA to Latin America."
I've added 2 stills from the ep to the gallery.

Hey guys, got CuteNews working again! I'm still trying to figure out how to get Captcha, the spam thing, working again so I've disabled commenting until it's up and running again.
I've capped The Thing dvd extra called Fire & Ice. Eric is only briefly seen. Will check out the other features this weekend.

Thanks to the lovely Diane for posting a review of the NCIS: LA episode "Collateral" (#4.08) over at the FORUM. Here's a preview:
"Hetty is missing and it may be related to the death of a former and very wealthy CIA agent. The promos look intense and I have been looking forward to an episode with a little bit of angst thrown in. Looks like we get all that and more with this one. In this episode, we get to see the writing talents of Cheo Hodari Coker for the first time and Kate Woods is behind the camera. Woods has my admiration for directing one of my favorite, if not my very favorite Deeks-centric episodes, Personal. So my expectations are high for many different reasons." |
I've also added a still of the episode to the gallery.

REVIEW OF NCIS: LA EP "RUDE AWAKENINGS (PART 2)"
|
Thanks to Diane for posting a review of "Rude Awakenings (Part 2)" (#4.06) over at the FORUM! Please check it out. Here's a preview:
"It seems strange to be back home sitting in front of my TV and watching the latest episode of NCIS:LA. Just a few days ago I was in Los Angeles visiting the Paramount lot and watching the taping of episode 11. For me and my colleague, sindee it was a magical day and I promise I will document the experience very soon. For now we have to get back to the conclusion of Out of the Past (4X05). Rude Awakening is written again by Frank Military, but this time it’s directed by Karen Gaviola, who we haven’t seen behind the camera since season two (Overwatch). The team is continuing to investigate the death of a CIA agent Sam worked with in the past. In order to solve the case, Sam must reveal a very private and perhaps compromising secret as shown on the provocative trailer for the episode." |

REVIEW OF "OUT OF THE PAST (PART 1)"
|
Thanks to Diane for posting a review of the NCIS: Los Angeles episode "Out of the Past (Part 1)" (#4.05) over at the FORUM. Check out the preview below!
"Hello NCISLA Familia! Wasn’t too sure I was going to be here this week after surviving a one-two punch from Hurricane Sandy but I am happy to report all is well for my family and friends. Thanks so much for your support and concern during the last two days. Gratefully, we have a new episode to take our minds off natural disasters and if you are a Sam Hanna fan… Frank Military has written a beaut! The first part introduces us to an old friend of Sam’s from the CIA who comes to the agent for help. Unfortunately, Sam finds him dead from an apparent suicide. The team joins their friend in the search for his killer and at first the only clue left behind is a poodle by the name of Chaucer. Sam sends Kensi and Deeks off to find out more about the dog which leads to many of the lighter moments in the show. But more on that later." |

REVIEW OF NCIS: LA EP "DEAD BODY POLITIC"
|
Sorry for posting this so late! Been really busy the last couple of days. Please check out Diane's review of "Dead Body Politic" (#4.04) over at the FORUM if you haven't done so already! Thanks for the review, Di! Here's a preview below.
"Hi folks, and welcome back to another exciting episode of NCIS Los Angeles. This time we’re going with an election themed episode which is very appropriate considering we are in the middle of another Presidential campaign here in the States. Shane Brennan has told TV Line that the show hopes to “really touch a nerve with the audience in terms of what they think of politicians. We tried to make it very contemporary in that sense.”
The team gets involved when the aide of a senatorial candidate gets killed; possibly making it a matter of national security depending on whether or not it was an accident or murder. Rachel Ticotin plays the feisty politician who is being called the everyman’s candidate but has a lot of enemies out there. Unfortunately, she’s not doing well in the polls and now there are five targets…but only one dead staff member. |

NEW LAYOUT + HAPPY 9 YEARS!
|
Hey guys! I hope you enjoy the new layout! I know I said I wanted to use those other photoshoot pics, but when I saw this pic, I knew I had to use it for the new layout! The new layout is to celebrate our 9 year anniversary! Yes, the site has been online for 9 years, how crazy is that? It just flew by! Can't believe we'll be celebrating our 10 year anniversary next year!
Anyways, let me know if you run into any errors. You can leave a comment or tweet me. Thanks! Oh and I put up two navigation sections. One top right for the most popular sections so you don't have to scroll down for the links. That's been bugging me about the previous layout! |
